Rondetafelgesprek inzake de rol en het belang van de Culturele en Creatieve sector in andere EU-landen (voertaal Engels)

The aim of the conversation is to gain more insight into the role and importance of the cultural and creative sector in other European countries, such as Germany, France, UK and Scandinavian countries. The members of parliament would like to have a discussion with experts from different member states on the following topics:
    • How is the cultural and creative sector in EU countries promoted and managed? What does government policy look like in these EU countries?
    • What are the differences between EU countries regarding the role and importance of the cultural an creative sector and how can they be explained?
    • Are these differences for instance caused by a significantly different system, different legislation, different policy principles, different subsidy policy, etc.? Or have differences historically or implicitly grown that way?
